IF a cook belongs to the best in Berlin, it is Tim Raue. The top chef with a Berlin snout knows the fine line between haute cuisine and street food perfectly! And he also celebrates success as a book author. No wonder, after all, the former Berlin gang member has a lot to tell. This can be seen over again in his way of cooking, which has already earned him two Michelin stars. With his latest coup, Tim Raue is again counting on fusion, this time also as far as the gastronomic management is concerned. We have tested the Brasserie Colette for you!

Golden Phoenix? So it rose from the ashes? That’s not the fact with the restaurant in the Hotel Provocateur in West Berlin, but since gold is automatically associated with quality and luxury, the name still fits. We spent such an enjoyable evening there with its Chinese and French cuisine that we absolutely recommend this restaurant to you!

Because at the Duke inside of the Ellington Hotel in berlin we are allowed to look over the master’s shoulder. And we get exclusive tips that we love to share with you of course!

Cooking unplugged could be everything: broiling, baking stick bread or – as at the Duke restaurant inside the Ellington Hotel in Berlin – high cuisine! We tried it out and were surprised about the delicious creations by head chef Florian Glauert who together with the fantastic head chefs Markus Semmler, Ben Pommer, Thomas Imbusch and the brothers Eggert came up with an artful and exquisite menu!

Recently I had quite a dilemma: I had invited a couple of guests for diner at home. Of course I wanted to cook myself as I love that. But then A job got in the way so that I woudln’t be home myself nefore 6.30 p.m. Much too late to cook for fifteen people and be ready on time. My solution: rent a cook for an evening!
The Butcher is a name with which everything seems to be explained concerning the concept of the restaurant. Not true! When we entered we knew immediately from the interior that this place was special. Be it the cozy style or the food, the Butcher is worth a visit.

We found out that the Das Schwein (the pig) is everything but what the name implied! There the wines as well as the dishes were mouth-watering. In addition the interior of the wine bar was very stylish and the staff extremely nice and well informed. Even though the das Schwein is a wine bar a visit is not only worth it because of the drinkable but also because of the edible delicacies.
