Velvet is unlike more comforting on our skin than almost any other fabric. So we are lucky that is in trend during this cold season. But for a touch of coolness you need to clash the styles.
Super-foods are being hyped in the media. Supermarkets and health-food stores promote them as THE new thing to boost our health. But to tell you the truth, chia-seeds, Goji-berries and what not simply are expensive substitutes for regional products. And on top we can’t know the details about the manufacturing processes. Plus they damage our environment. So why look in the distance if the good things are just around the corner.
Lifting eyelids without surgery? Sounds great! I have to admit that I am a beauty junkie and therefore always willing to try out new methods. When I read in the internet about an eyelid trainer which seems to become a mega trend in Japan I ordered and tested it immediately!
Lush colors on the walls? An established trend. Still some people feel shy about strong colors at home. I also used to be afraid that saturated colors would kind of smother a room. And as a consequence I wasn’t going to feel comfortable in such rooms! By now I am a true fan of rich colors. They give me the opportunity to create a warm and comfy surrounding with little effort and means. So go for it!
Fabric jumble is SO hot! Since the most recent Gucci collection we all know that everything is allowed in the fashion industry. Neon clashes with muted colors, stripes with plaids, baggy with tight-fitting pieces, rough with delicate. The more you dare the better which makes it a real challenge! Especially because there are a few rules that we should consider otherwise we might not look cool but comical. To achieve that goal we had great help from Lecomte. And with basics from our closets we can show you combinations that you can easily copy!
The micro needle roller and the mikro injection serum by Svenja Walberg are supposed to be anti aging innovations. Tiny needles are attached to a small roller to prick the skin. They injure our skin so as a consequence it needs to heel and to regenerate which leads to a better skin. The anti aging package is completed by the hyaluronic gel which contains three different hyaluronic acids. Mmmh, is that some kind of scam again with a scientific wrapping? Or is it what it says it is? A method to reduce tiny wrinkles and repair parts of our skin? We tested it!
The boho look was totally hip during summer, now in fall it is still highly hyped. I love this trend because it is easy and has that cool hippie look plus it is mostly extremely comfortable. And it becomes every woman! Somehow the flowing dresses and clashing with the style conveys a bit of a festival mood. And there are so many color variations that any fashionista will find her style! Now let’s get started with my favorite boho looks which I assorted all in my precious Showroom Berlin store for you.
Brocat fabrics were looked at being prissy for a long time, but this fall it is THE fabric trend which gives day to day looks a royal touch. Brocat is a heavy silk fabric which used to be for royals only! This season, though, it celebrates its royal comeback. I composed a few outfits for you at the Showroom my favourite fashion boutique in Berlin.
1. Brocat – dressed up
More is more – at least concerning my first outfit which I would chose for an afterwork party. I combined the brocat skirt by Marc Cain with a bouclé top. That looses it up a little and picks up the current mixed patterns trend. The turtle neck with the collar variation makes it youthful and up to date. Besides sling pumps and a clutch (with a gold clip) in the same color as the skirt. All I need now to be a real brocat princess is a coronet! All pieces by Marc Cain.
2. Brocat – dressed down
I would go to the office in this combination especially as the boots from Marc Cain ttps://www.marc-cain.com/ are supercomfy. This makes brocat suitable for daily use! With the skirt goes a comfy cashmere turtle neck and a long black coat by Strenesse. The solid boots round out the picture and grant a glamourous entry for the skirt. Tada!
If you want to style brocat for the street you should chose only one brocat piece at a time and add plain clothes to it! The fabric itself is swanky enough. Plus the skirt can be combined with all kinds of other pieces. Which makes it from now on my favourite must-have!
Every year people from all over the world pilger to Munich to party in dirndl dresses and lederhosen. This time between September 16th and October 3rd. And that’s expensive! The prices for one Maas beer or the traditional grilled chicken rise annually and to wear a really stylish dirndl dress can cost a fortune. But there is a clever alternative.
It cannot be any more natural, that’s pure bio. I always have one on the terrace, it’s easy to maintain and if I put a piece of it in the fridge the effect is even greater! Super skin due to a potted plant! A skin boost made easy!
